Jimena Llopis

Associate Director, Behavioral Science


Jimena joined CUBIC in September 2021. Her current work focuses on managing a team of behavioral scientists and designing and testing behavioral interventions in Asia and Africa around teacher motivation, violence, child labor, and children’s vaccination rates.

Prior to joining the CUBIC team, Jimena worked for four years as a behavioral scientist at the World Bank’s Mind, Behavior & Development Unit (eMBeD). Before that, she worked as a research fellow at the research department of the Inter-American Development Bank and at the Central Bank of Spain.

Jimena received her Bachelor in Economics from Universidad Autonoma de Madrid and her MPA from New York University.

Fun fact: Jimena loves to go biking and once biked from New York to Washington DC in 5 days in a climate ride.
